But bare bone, needs additions like power supply, keyboard, mouse, storage etc. Found acceptance among HTPC enthusiasts as a low-cost media player. Supports HD playback, Ethernet Port, USB Ports, HDMI and Composite outputs. Boots from SD Card. xbmc has been ported to support this. Raspbmc and OpenELEC are spin-off versions of xbmc which have been tuned to this motherboard.

A flexible note taking app. Yet to find a better note taking app compared to this. A note can be placed on any where on your Page. Supports embedding Audio, Video clips or content, creation of to-do lists with in the note. Available on Windows Desktop, Windows Tablets & iOS. iOS app is a let down with a bare minimum features. Mac users are currently restricted to the WebApp version.

An Open source OS which you cannot ignore if you want to setup a PC/Laptop without investing on the OS. If your normal use of Desktop/Laptop is limited to browsing internet, mail access, social networking, watching Videos, listening to Music then Ubuntu very well serves the purpose. A new version comes every six months. Users need not stay away as this being a flavour of Linux. The interface has evolved to a point were the rawness or complexity of Linux for a normal user have been heavily shielded. Your Chrome, Firefox, Skype is available on this platform. Ubuntu provides it's on App store where use can browse and install apps.
